As announced a few weeks ago, with news dedicated first to the transformation into an indefinite contract for Maurizio De Caro in Bari and then with the hiring of Alessandra Leonardi in Rome, C&C S.p.A. puts in black and white the intention to continue the inclusion of young workers with Down syndrome in their stores in the cities of Bergamo, Foggia, Lecce, Rome and Taranto.
On Monday, July 5, 2021, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the company of the brothers Michele and Luca Gigli and AIPD, the Italian Down Syndrome Association.
AIPD, for its part, has guaranteed support to the company and workers through the commitment of the Observatory on the World of Work that will take care of the coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of the candidates.
In the face of the company's willingness to include other workers with Down syndrome in stores in other cities where the brand is present, AIPD has declared its willingness to provide all its support by coordinating with local AIPD branches or, in the absence of association sections, by reporting other local associative realities operating in the territory of interest.
