Call for Proposals Objectives

This notice aims to create innovative educational environments for state nursery schools in the 3-6 year age group. The interventions are aimed at adapting the learning environments of state nursery schools to ensure the development of children's cognitive, emotional, and relational skills in the different areas of experience provided for by the National Guidelines for nursery and primary education, in line with the Pedagogical Guidelines for the integrated zero-six system. Beneficiaries 

State school institutions with active nursery school sections, belonging to the regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardia, Marche, Molise, Piemonte, Puglia, Sardegna, Sicilia, Toscana, Umbria, and Veneto.

Spending Caps

Maximum amount equal to €75,000.00 including VAT.

The allocation of furniture cannot exceed 60% of the budget available and must be made to support the reconfiguration of the space based on the activities outlined in the educational project.

Special attention should be given to devices and training activities for students with learning difficulties for inclusivity and accessibility projects. 

Regarding eligible expenses, it is specified that the purchase of stationery and consumable materials, as well as subscription fees for services, are not allowed.

Detailed Types of Intervention

Eligible interventions include the furnishing and/or adaptation of learning environments available to nursery school sections, through the purchase of furniture and educational and digital equipment consistent with the educational objectives for the 3-6 year age group. The environments are characterized by ensuring safety, comfort, accessibility, inclusivity, flexibility, respect for environmental sustainability principles, with the provision of furniture – up to a maximum of 60% – allowing for the reconfiguration of space based on the activities outlined in the educational project (tables for observation and experiential activities, reconfigurable arenas and stands, mobile trolleys, mobile cabinets and storage units, libraries, soft seats and cushions, educational and luminous carpets, any mobile walls, etc.), innovative digital equipment calibrated based on the different stages of child development (kits and tools for introduction to coding, educational robotics, STEM, kits for digital creativity, making and tinkering, projectors and other digital tools for creating immersive environments, suitable interactive digital screens, bright surfaces, audio and video recording equipment and digital storytelling, 3D printers and pens, digital musical instruments, educational software and apps, specific digital aids for children with disabilities, etc.), and educational equipment (kits for language development and literacy education, kits for developing numerical skills and problem solving, construction kits for three-dimensional constructions, for creative laboratories, for developing motor skills, for emotional education, etc.).
